Confirm whether the price is for a scarf or a set

Ask for length and width together
Measure a scarf you already like to wear and note how you fold or wrap it. Request the listing’s dimensions in the same units, including whether stated length includes fringe. Two scarves with the same length can feel quite different in use when their widths differ.
Check the full pattern and the edges
A folded photograph hides part of the pattern and some edges. Request an unfolded view, both ends and a useful close-up of the fringe or hem. Match the chosen color to the available views. Lighting and the fold can change how a check or stripe appears.
Keep fibre claims separate from appearance
A soft-looking or fluffy image does not identify the fibre composition. Save the stated material specification and its source; ask for clarification when a material claim matters to your choice. Compare cost on the same basis
